In light of the COVID-19 reality we are now all living in, we wish our customers and friends to learn what measures Sawall Health Foods has put in place for your safety and that of our essential employees at our store. This might be a longer post than usual, but please read until the end.

  • Our hours have temporarily changed to Mon-Sat, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sundays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Every customer is provided with disposable gloves.
  • Our carts are sanitized regularly throughout the day, before and after each customer use.
  • Our store is sanitized entirely by a professional sanitizing company three times a week.
  • Our team of employees ensure the store is sanitized on a daily basis.
  • 6ft social distancing marks have been placed all over the store especially at the register areas.
  • Plexiglass shields have been placed at the registers.
  • Our team of employees are wearing disposable gloves.
  • Salad bar is closed. You will find salad options at our Deli counter.
  • Our Deli is open and lots of fresh deli options are available.
  • Bulk Department is closed to the public. We do have a dedicated staff associate that will take your order and prepare it for you.
  • We are providing options to our customers of curb side pick up and delivery (within a 4-mile radius). We will do your shopping for you and provide alternatives if we don't carry your favorite brands. You just need to call 269 343-3619.
  • At rush hours, we are limiting the number of total customers to shop AT ONE TIME to 15.

We are following CDC directives as well as directives adopted by food stores in hard hit countries such as Italy, where we have direct knowledge of the situation as family members are currently on severe country lock down.

We are trying to do our best to make you and everyone that works with us safe. However, we need you as our customers and friends to help us achieve this together.

We are recommending that customers:

  • use disposable gloves
  • shop one person per family/household group. Should you not be able to, please think about the options we are providing such as curb side pick up and delivery. We do understand this is might be difficult for some.
  • Please no personal reusable shopping bags and/or bulk containers.
  • keep social distancing.

And finally a note for us all - love thy neighbor. We are all in this together Kalamazoo. Please let's be kind to one another.

We take this opportunity to thank our great group of employees who are also on the front line every day stocking our shelves and trying to do their best to fulfill their jobs in emotionally taxing times.
